A reminder that we’ve got growing evidence (thanks Covid) that BOTH forms of diabetes are auto-immune, post-viral syndromes. Infections caused the spike in cases we started seeing in 2020, not a few weeks of staying home. We’ve had a big body of case reports of infection -> diabetes for 30 years.
