There are two types of people. Mentally ill people who use speakers, and kind considerate humane people who use headphones. I will never understand the selfish idiocy of using speakers at high volume. I'm a video editor and I prefer headphones to loudspeakers. The audio quality is better.

I am having an IM conversation that is exhausting and demoralising. It's tiring because it's filled with "oh, like in A" or "but this person B" and so on. It's never actually hearing. It's never acknowledging. I love IM, when it's a dialogue.
