For context on the Juan Soto signing, the Mets are paying Soto $51M per season. The Oakland A's entire payroll last year was $60M.

Alabama is OUT of the College Football Playoff. SMU showed it clearly belongs in the CFP. Clemson earned its spot. You CANNOT penalize a team for playing in their conference championship & instead put in a team with more losses, that didn't even make their conference championship game.

Went to my high school reunion and "what do you do for work" was not a common question. "Where do you live? You married? Have kids? How old?" were the most common questions. Pretty nice to see everyone more concerned about the people we are and not the titles we have.
