Gregg is a former Marine and Forest Service ranger. He's saved the lives of hikers dangling off a cliff or going through cardiac arrest, and he's bravely fought forest fires to save small rural towns. 100% of his salary is paid by WA state. Elon fired him. Share his story.

The U.S. debt is $36 trillion. Low taxes mean you must borrow to run the U.S or cut services. Tax cuts = more debt, which means rich people can loan their tax cuts back to the U.S. to make even more $. Trump wants 4.5 trillion in tax cuts and a 4 trillion raise in debt ceiling. It’s a shell game.

"The attempt by the oligarchs to destroy our government is illegal, unconstitutional, and more than a little mad. I describe it not because it must succeed but because it must be described so that we can make it fail." Hope, Actually: "Nothing is inevitable. Do not be alone and do not be dismayed.

Colombia has accepted hundreds of deportation flights in the past years. It rejected two flights using military planes, but agreed to continue taking flights using normal ICE planes. In response, the Trump administration has done the equivalent of punching them in the face.

I couldn’t have said this better.

Securing our borders is important, but a few hard truths are often overlooked. The drugs coming here are eagerly devoured by our citizens; we are a nation of junkies. Drug cartels get 99.9% of their guns from U.S. gun stores. Undocumented workers are not only workers, they are consumers.

Today I reached page 401 in These Truths by Professor Jill Lepore of Harvard and read this.

Every school in the United States would do a great service to their students and the country if they took 30 minutes on every December 10 to teach a lesson about The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I applaud Professor Richardson for her post.

Hegseth has the self-awareness of a dog licking itself in the living room while the kids are opening Christmas presents, and he understands American history less than the dog.

Trump is not the problem; he’s the symptom. Republicans could have chosen someone else as their candidate but they didn’t. I’m back to give Republicans hell!
