At 15% this Cab Sav/Shiraz unfiltered might put you back on your heels a bit, but full of fruit, wood, balance and elegence. I fine year from Glaetzer. Personally, think it's worth the price point.

This one. Full of fruit, balanced and lengthy tannins and at a stonking 14.5 might just put you to sleep. But worth it.

Maybe we should honor the women who were real astronauts. From left to right are Shannon W. Lucid, Margaret Rhea Seddon, Kathryn D. Sullivan, Judith A. Resnik, Anna L. Fisher, and Sally K. Ride. NASA selected all six women as their first female astronaut candidates in January 1978.

This one is a bit off the beaten path. Cote du Rhone Village, a very fruity but appropriately dry GSM. 14.5 per cent. Excellent price point though.

Just received my copy of Remains. Gorgeous, gorgeous magazine.

I have to say, I am just overwhelmingly delighted with Tilda in The Dead Don't Die.

Why does every book description these days sound like X meets Y? What's wrong with originality? Oh, too hard....

What happened to the supposed ceasefire? What happened to ending the war in three days? Trump has a clear strategy. Say he's doing something and then when it fails divert attention to something else. Epstein files. Doge so-called fraud. Etc.

Ya know, we spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping. We should concentrate on improving the quality of that experience. Eat more cheese!

This one, classically non-German grape by a Rhein-Hessen producer, though he apprenticed around the world. Cherries, lavender, but quite sharp. Not always a fan of Malbec, but a decent quaffer with food. Unfiltered.

The tree village of Alartha burns. Pernille runs for her life. Tyrus searches for a girl he's never met. Their fates are tied, their enemies ruthless. Read “Of A Feather” now. geni.us/OfAFeatherP

There’s no such thing as A.I “art.” It’s a soulless amalgamation of plagiarised data. That is the antithesis of art.

If you've never thought about white rioja, think again. Discovered this little beauty at a restaurant in Aranjuez. Petrol, minerality, deeply aromatic. Super wine. Be careful, there are a few Becquers, but this is the one.

You know, when I was doing the whole twenty album thing, I forgot one. Woulda made twenty-one, but oh well.

The James Webb Telescope detected a molecule called dimethyl sulfide (DMS) on exoplanet K2-18 b, an exoplanet 8.6 times as massive as Earth. On Earth, it’s only produced by living organisms.

Another special from our go to Franken guy Shafer. 10 years old, deep yellow, minerals and harmony. A great Silvaner.

Another disappointment, which is a pity because their white is really, really, special. This was weak, acidic, and very unimpressive. I generally expect more from a Sicilian red.

Snurched from another place: London.

Rather disappointing this one. Crianza but quite muddy and the cork wasn't the best. Also a little too acidic. Didn't finish.

What a traitor. I am horrified by this article. www.theguardian.com/books/2025/m...

I am often moved to posit whether the use of psychadelics fundamentally alters you as a person. Are you still the same person you would have been? Asking for a friend.

Well, if you don't want to fork out for a Meursault, then you could do worse than giving this a look. Much more reasonable price point, deep, rich. Only missing the butteriness of the bigger names.
