I know how easy it is to get overwhelmed. I promise you though, there are far more people who want to do what's right than not. If we stand together we will prevail.

So crucial to know and support your neighbours before climate change comes for your town www.motherjones.com/environment/...

YES! Note that we can't all lead--but we must all work together to get through this. Outrage will motivate, but organizing and building connections (and community with solidarity) will be key to long-term success

Tokyo vs Trump - Tokyo wins

It would be so helpful if the Left had any kind of coherent emergency management platform right about now. 🙃

Folks saying the transition is unstoppable regardless of Trump aren’t wrong exactly but Trump is a massive stick in the spokes for a transition that moves at the pace and trajectory required by climate science. Not a reason to give up by any means but important to acknowledge when crafting strategy

A "glacial pace" once meant slow and steady. But there's nothing slow about the changes I've seen. In just 15 years, the Nigard Glacier has dramatically receded 🧊📉👇#InternationalYearofGlaciersPreservation

Thank you @rupertread.bsky.social - this is exactly what I want to do in my community and for the very same reasons rupertsreads.substack.com/p/pivoting-t...
