Yesterday was crazy beautiful. It was frikkin hot & dusty, more so than previous Xmases. Everybody gathered at my new flat. We exchanged gifts, ate, drank & made merry. Cheated at board games. Child labour was deployed for cleanup. The hostess had a 3rd beer after midnight. #AnAfricanChristmas 🎄🎁🎊

I was one of the writers invited to Hay Festival 2016. I met Benedict Cumberbatch (who I still have a giant crush on) & Maisie Williams (Arya Stark in GOT). Nothing extraordinary happened, we were all exhausted from performing to crowds all day but they still took photos with me. Mind blown!
