Impromptu work on the shed. It is 78°F and sunny today=hot in the shed! Didn’t stay in for too long. Plus there was a wasp in there flying around. I’ll stick with cooler/rainy weather like next weekend :(. Plus, I will have to start moving things to get to the back. Not too much left though!!

Productive day complete! Peel n stick wallpaper under the outdoor table to keep the flying nest builders from using it and repurposing landscaping cement to create “steps” from the shed so it isn’t such a steep drop down (for someone without depth perception, it’s a scary step!)

I have a light beside my bed that is really great but it is touch adjusted and, if you tap the “target”, it goes thru 5 lvls of brightness. If you “long press”, it turns off. Issue is, I can’t see the target! So I have to lay my whole hand across the surface to turn the lamp off. #visuallyimpaired

Worked out after work. Am doing the week trial of #DDPYoga. Since I #workout at home, a lot of my programs are just a shade outside of my skill/endurance level. Esp when it’s been awhile. Is neat that #DDPY goes from Bed stretches up to….? I am on Beginner + and found it challenging enough.

Sadly, my project self-destructed on row 65. I have to frog it back and have decided there are too many ktbl and sk2p/cdd to work with this type of yarn (cotton threads, not twisted). I have new yarn coming on Tuesday. I am sad but the aggravation should be lessened.

Shed cleanup still going. WTF of the day: an unopened beer can that had evaporated and an unopened ibuprofen bottle that exp’d in ‘23. The clear box is saved, the blue one is beyond icky and will be trashed. Hoping to finish this next weekend.

Worked on cleaning the shed more. Today’s “why TF are we keeping this?”: dryer vent hose that was last used in 2020. I also have 3 weed eaters (2 in shed, 1 on carport) that I don’t know if work. STBX is supposed to come by “soon” and get more stuff out. I want a weed eater of my own choosing

Ooh #Cheza is smart! I moved into a bedroom with windows during the winter so she is only just now starting to exp open windows. In front of the bedroom window, I moved a flat-top jewelry box that they can lay on. A few weeks ago, she went to jump to the bathroom window not knowing it was closed…
