The real debate isn't, "Are trans-women women? Are trans-men men?" The real debate is, "Are trans-people people?"

When someone makes assertions that seem completely divorced from reality, it's often better (mainly, for your own mental health) to simply say, "I have no idea what you're talking about", rather than argue.

Talking about the events of the last three months and how bad they've been and how much worse they could have been and this piece by @catvalente.bsky.social randomly came back to mind. Desantis is no longer close to relevant on the national stage but it's apt. catvalente.substack.com/p/theres-no-...

I'm skimming YouTube, and came across one titled "Plutonium Bomb Core", and it took me a good 10 seconds before I realized it wasn't about a new subgenre of heavy music. But it really should be.

I've decided to convince people that the phenomenon of collectively misremembering an event in the same way is called the Mancala effect, so named because so many people think fmr South African revolutionary and president Nelson Mancala was named "Mandela".

Podcast promotion! ✨✨ Now with VIDEO! ✨✨ I'm going to get even further out of my comfort zone and ask you to share this with anyone who likes audiobooks, speculative fiction, and guys with beards who put them together into a podcast. Thanks, friends :)

"I didn't vote for that!" Trump ran on exactly two planks: fascism and economic self-destruction. Which one of those DID you vote for?

If you want to know what someone genuinely cares about, pay attention to what they know about. For example, if a person claims to care about the economy, but is shocked that imposing severe tariffs could be damaging, you can be certain they aren't being honest with what they care about.

Musk claimed the WI court race could ‘decide the future of Western Civilization’. When I hear someone using that term, I know two things about them: They don’t know as much about history as they think they do, and they’re at least a little bit racist, probably a lot.

I'm pretty sure I've grown new muscles in my back because there's too much tension for the regular ones to handle.

I am so excited to announce It's Storytime with Wil Wheaton, my new podcast. Our first episode drops on March 26th and is available wherever you get your podcasts.
