Something I didn't know as a baby author: You have to know how to describe the sound of your character's voice when you're getting an audiobook made. I guess so you can really bring those voices in your head to life 😜

Someone take these glutino animal crackers away from me 😩

Unexpectedly Ever After has been released into the wild. Go forth, book child, and thrive. On to the next 😌

Phew. All 947639632 things on my book release to-do list are officially done.

The dedication for my new book is a whole mood:

Just when I think I'm making progress... Life.

It’s fun trying to find that line between “I need to remain vigilant of the horrors afoot” and also “oh no my heart is racing and my jaw is making weird creaky sounds and I can taste pennies.”

it feels so unfair when a salad gives you an upset stomach. like c'mon it wasn't even that fun to eat

Excited that #booksky is a thing now because I love it here 📚

My brain is the real life version of that meme with the guy holding hands with his girlfriend and checking out another girl, only with plot ideas.

People think the hardest part of writing a book is the writing. :cries in editing:

You know that scene in Knocked Up with Paul Rudd and the chairs in Vegas? That's me with the books I'm writing.

Some people are mood readers. I'm a mood writer. I wake up and say, "Which project has the right energy for today?" That's probably why I have 13 active WIPs.

The most exhausting thing about being an adult? Having to figure out what to feed yourself 3 times a day.

I was randomly thinking up hobbit stripper names the other day. "Now dancing on the main stage, Misty Mountains!"

I didn't ask Santa for a Christmas migraine but here we are

Why do online stores not offer gift wrapping for an extra fee? I'd happily pay whatever to not throw my back out for the next six weeks on something that'll be ripped apart in two seconds.

Wrote this into my latest book and when I saw it was one of the popular highlights lol

Floating the idea of writing a dark prison romance next, starring no one and inspired by nothing 🤐. The hero will, of course, get his HEA.

Released a new book yesterday and it's already on the pirate sites. That's gotta be a sign I've made it.

nice song, i think i’ll listen to it 53 times in a row

The fact I'm still frantically scrambling to finish writing this dark Christmas romance is really keeping that holiday stress at peak levels.

There's something about listening to alien smut on audio that just hits different.

The fastest way to ensure I get nothing done on my WIP? Tell myself I can *only* work on my WIP.
