Full moon rise tonight!

I finally have a new job after nine months! It’s been a rough year since the place I was working for it closed back in February. I’m excited to be working as the new database manager for the fundraising department at a private school south of San Francisco. My first day will be October 1st.

I had a baseball filled August. One game at the Oakland Coliseum to see the Oakland A’s host, the San Francisco Giants, and many games of the Sacramento Rivercats. Sometimes I was joined by family or friends, but I also went by myself.

I attempted my first crocheted shawl over this last week. I’m happy with the result.

My birthday week! Full of good food and lovely views.

Springtime in Napa County!

Part of a random vacation to Phoenix, Arizona, included a lunch with my dear friend Sunshine.

Opening Night for the Oakland As last night! #ilovebaseball

Day 24 (&25 unexpectedly) of my annual trip to Oregon was the drive home on March 2nd and 3rd. I had all kinds of weather from clear and sunny to being snowed upon. by the time I got to Willits, it was dark, snowing and I was tired! Got a hotel room and finished the drive the next day.

Day 23 of my annual trip to Oregon was yesterday, March 1st. I began the drive home southward, visited Heceta Head Lighthouse, and drove inland to visit a friend. I ended up spending the night in their guest room because it was snowing too much for me to continue my drive!

Day 22 of my annual trip to Oregon - Leap Day! It was a day of chores - finishing up a sewing project, checking in to work, packing what I could pack and out to dinner at one of my favorite local spots. It also was a very stormy day - sunny, hailing, raining, and overcast all happened in 12 hours!

Days 19 through 21 (Monday through today) were more of the same - Poirot episodes, sewing and crocheting - and watching the storm come in and hit where I’m staying quite hard. It’s very windy and the rain has been nonstop today.

Days 17 and 18 were spent crafting and watching the ocean. Yesterday was sunny and today was back to rainy, but I find it beautiful always! I watched 1 whole season of Hercule Poirot and almost a whole season of Death in Paradise as my crafting background.

Day 16 (yesterday) of my annual trip to Oregon! I went to the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. It was so fun! Had dinner at Depoe Bay Brewing Co after.

Day 15 of my annual trip to Oregon! I spent the day working but with the ocean as my background. And I found The Princess Bride on tv tonight!

Day 14 of my annual trip to Oregon! I left my family in McMinnville and drove back out to the coast. I stopped to visit a historical covers bridge and a local state park to walk along the beach. Such a great day!

Day 13 of my annual trip to Oregon was a super low key day. it was a bit of work, a bit of squirrel watching, a bit of crocheting, dinner with my family that I’m visiting, and a British murder mystery and rainy evening to end the day.

Day 12 of my annual trip to Oregon! I had another low key day, spending this morning working a bit and hanging out with my friends’ doggies. Then I drove to nearby family to spend a couple days with them. We had a lovely dinner out downtown. #ilovetotravel

Day 10 and 11 of my annual trip to Oregon are in the books. I drove inland yesterday morning and met up with a sister by choice and her husband. We spent most of yesterday and today out and about in their local are and even got in some wine tasting. #ilovetotravel

@amymisha.bsky.social hi!!!

Day 9 of my annual trip to Oregon! It was a very fun day - I went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, found a windy ocean overlook point, found the Abraham Lincoln statue in Lincoln City and went out to the Pelican Brewing Company for dinner. #ilovetotravel

Day 8 of my annual trip to Oregon was a day of work. Grocery shopping, then my jobs. But being at the ocean makes all the difference! #ilovetotravel

Day 7 of my annual trip to Oregon! Another low key day and ending with driving back to the coast. #ilovetotravel

Day 6 of my annual trip to Oregon was very low key. My friend and I both spent the morning working on both job and personal stuff. Then we all went to support her older daughter with her club that’s building soap box derby cars. #ilovetotravel

Day 5 of my annual trip to Oregon. We went to the maritime museum in Astoria, had lunch there, picked up my friend’s kids from school, had dinner all together and then spent the evening watching Wish. Great day! #ilovetotravel

Day 4 of my annual trip to Oregon. It was a lazy Sunday and then an amazingly tense Super Bowl game! #ilovetotravel

Super Bowl 2024: Kansas City Chiefs defend NFL title after beating San Francisco 49ers in overtime

Day 3 of annual trip to Oregon! Lincoln City to Rainier to my first person I’m visiting for the next few days. Done with driving! My route took me into Washington and then back to Oregon- bonus! #ilovetotravel
