The Bay Area weather radar (KMUX) has been out of service for more than 24 hours now. An expensive broken part needs to be replaced and specially ordered, but that may not be possible due to ongoing freeze on government credit card spending, I’ve been told.

Refinery fire in Martinez...doesn't super come through in the video but there's consistent low rumbling coming from the fire that sounds like a low flying plane. Stay safe and turn on your air purifiers!

By my count, there were 37 new wildfire starts in SoCal in just the past 48hr — during PDS Red Flag Warning. None of them became news stories b/c they were all stopped by fire crews within 1-2hrs. During the worst Jan. weather conditions in California history. Huge, huge props to firefighters. ♥️

Here's the thing. Our world will heat up, and the climate break down, until after we phase out fossil fuels and create an effective zero-emissions economy. If we give up on that fight when we cross 1.5, or any target, then we give up on saving whatever will be left. Never give up.

It seems fitting that my first post on this platform is one that's going to undoubtedly spark A LOT of debate. California is made up of regions. But where do they start and end? www.sfgate.com/california/a...

It's important to realize how long scientists have warned those in power. Climate change is not somebody's fault for not recycling beer cans. It's the result of a fraud against the public by corporations who have flooded the zone with bribes and misinformation.

NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information website is down, as is their database of billion-dollar weather and climate disasters. Why? Likely because NCEI is based in Asheville NC. Climate-fueled unnatural disasters spare no-one and nothing. www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/billi...
