A thing that keeps up at night is this paradox of a Law. "Energies cannot be created or destroyed from our Universe" But here's the thing... Where did our Energy come from in the first place? And What happens to energies inside blackholes? 1/Space

My photo of an Organ Pipe Mud Dauber made the Arthropod Photo of the Week with @entsocamerica.bsky.social Figured I’d share it here bcs I think a wasp carrying a mud ball is adorable. Organ Pipe Daubers are solitary spider hunting wasps. They are docile around people and a great wasp to observe.

Pink was initially a masculine color. Dudes were wearing it as standard clothing like Diet Red until a hundred years ago. I point this out when people demand others be "normal." Normal is what's consensus agrees upon. Normal is a construct. Normal can change. Kindness can become the new normal.

I'm afraid of this site becoming toxic again, it feels like it is inevitable. Twitter didn't just become Toxic because of Elon Musk, he just slightly added more. Hopefully the algorithim here forces people to not revert back to the Chemical spill site.

I'll often tell people, if you're afraid of spiders try getting a nice picture of one. Most of them run and hide. The exception is jumping spiders. These wee fuzzballs are curious like miniature cats and some will jump on the camera. Check out this Emerald Jumping Spider selfie. #Arachtober
