You might try continuing with paper and professional tracing paper or the like. Trace what you like and keep drawing, progressing. There is nothing like hand skills and w/ paper and pencil you know the next step, technique, option is pencil. You wont be tempted, lured down dead ends with tools, etc

Yes! I tell people something similar very often. When you are learning w pencil=you always know the next step is pencil technique or erasing. Keep it simple don’t explore dead ends with tools, filters, too many choices
