I'm feeling very gaslit. Has everyone just forgotten how to communicate or is there a new set of assumptions &I didn't get the memo? Example: I answer the work phone, ask "Do you want to be transferred to X or Y?" They answer "Yes." Even coworkers seem to just hear what they assume I'm saying.

Ive lived in the same state ~40 years. I've seen tornados, blizzards, afternoon thunderstorms that evaporate into dry roads over punishing humidity, heat indices over 120 and wind chills under -40. I've been hit with tropical storms, drought, flood, and it'll only get worse.
