Die US-Luftschläge auf Irans Atomanlagen markieren eine Zäsur. Teheran täuscht, rüstet auf, unterstützt Russlands Krieg – und bedroht auch Europa. Das Atomabkommen war ein Feigenblatt. Die EU braucht endlich eine klare, geschlossene Iranstrategie. Sonst verspielt sie außenpolitisch ihre Rolle.

Das ist eine beeindruckende Demonstration militärischer Stärke der USA. Es bleibt die Frage: Und jetzt was? Die Machthaber im Iran werden an der Macht bleiben wollen und vielleicht erklären, dass es kaum Schäden gibt (schwer zu prüfen) und dass das Atomprogramm weiter geht.
