#Star-Tracking #7. Following Lonnie Farmer from his role as a toy store employee in "Black Friday" (2021), we join the Disney side, debuting, (for the first time in our living room), "Underdog" (2007).

#Star-Tracking #6. Bruce Campbell, writer, director, lead, producer, etc. of the #5 flick, "Man with the Screaming Brain" (2005) is followed to his role as a store manager in, "Black Friday" (2021). (1/3)

@xineee.bsky.social : This reminded of our conversation about the evils of 'nice'. Long, potent, read:

#Star-Tracking #5 From "Planet Raptor" Ted Rami leads us to Bruce Campbell's 2005, "The Man with the Screaming Brain". Based and shot in Bulgaria this was the most enjoyable so far. Low budget, slapstick/sci-fi/comedy. It had a good depth for what it was, w/ a neat cultish feel. Might watch again.

#Star-Tracking #4 From, "Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys", we follow Vanessa Angel to, "Planet Raptor". This was apparently a sequel of "Raptor Island", with no real callbacks to note other than familiarity to a character named Pappy. At least the writing, acting, and production values matched.

#Star-Tracking #3 Cory Feldman in, "Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys". Beautifully, it seems you don't need to watch the prior twelve Puppet Master movies to follow the plot here. This was the best in the series I've seen involving a garage, office building, and basement set. Also, only.

#Star-Tracking #2 Malcolm McDowell in, "Corbin Nash". Memories of much better production values, no actual memories of Malcolm McDowell. Crazy memories of Corey Feldman in a wicked weird Buffalo Bill type role. Some other sort of vampire theme going on, but, man Feldman weirded me out.

#Star-Tracking: #1 LeVar Burton in "Yesterday’s Target". The poor image quality detracted, unknown if whatever service we watched it with had a bad copy, or it was shot on a VHS camcorder. I recall feeling like I was much younger, staying up late, and watching a bad Sci-fi channel original.

The spouse and I started a method of choosing movies a while back I've decided to shamelessly coin #Star-Tracking. This involves watching a movie, then picking an actor you did not follow into the movie, into another movie, which none of the participants have seen before. (1/2)
