Enjoying my season tickets to the Penguins. Got my one and likely only game of the year in. #NHL #GoPens

I have known Felon47 to be a Russian asset since 2015. It is an undeniable fact. A witting or unwitting asset, I’m still not sure, but no doubt a Russian asset. Helsinki confirmed it beyond any reasonable doubt, yet nearly a decade later, he’s the king of the USA. Un-Effing-Believable!!!

Bingo! Will be studied by historians for at least a millennium for that very reason.

In honor of the snow and cold taking over the country. It is often incredibly beautiful!

Great hockey game tonight. Thanks to the best players in the world for entertaining us!

Iceland. Diamond Beach where Jokulsarlon empties into the North Atlantic.

Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Taken from just above Lower Falls.

Crater Lake National Park. I may have 100 photos of the lake, which is truly magnificent, but this photo speaks to me.

A view from Turkey Run State Park.

Early morning mist burn-off in the boundary waters (bwca) of Northern MN.

Last week my neighbors didn’t seem too excited to see me.

The winter open water of the outlet starts just past the cattails on mild winter days.

My last morning in MN for this trip. Crisp, but good for another morning walk.

Another new photo for me - footprints in the snow from a family of 5 swans that winter on our open water.

Ice trying to form in the moving water of the creek.

Awesome sunsets the last two nights. I need to get a camera because my phone fails to capture the real color, which has been amazing.

Blinded by the morning sun that had just broke thru the trees, I literally took this picture without a clue that there was a deer standing in the trail 30 yards in front of me until I took a few more steps and he took off, followed by 3 more.

Good mornin! My first morning walk of this MN visit.

A view I’ve never photographed on my land this afternoon. Seconds after taking this, I found a small spring, broke thru the ice, dunked my arms, legs, and phone/camera in some beautiful black.

Nice color this evening.

Not a lot of snow, but when in Minnesota, do what Minnesotans do…

Tom Morello was right. And now, we are living in the bonafide Rage Against the Machine era. It is time to organize. Our government is not failing us, it is actively trying to destroy us. #ResistForRealThisTIme

In high water, the outlet needs -30° to freeze. Last fall was dry so the last night’s -15° was enough to freeze it up. Cool, but beautiful Minnesota morning.

Ahh, my first Minnesota sunset in a couple months.

Stjornarfoss (my last photo) isn’t likely on anyone’s Iceland agenda. It wasn’t on mine. But Fjadrarglijufur was pretty disappointing. Beautiful, but crowded and we were limited to a small trail. We literally explored the hills above Stjornarfoss and it was awesome!

Stjornarfoss. Iceland. Exploring the area above the falls was the best afternoon I spent in Iceland.

The Oculus, New York City.

Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs.

Chicago River on a slightly warmer day.

I grew up in love with the “North Shore”. In this case, it means NE Minnesota, the north shore of Lake Superior. Still try to spend time there every other year. One of the landmarks is Split Rock Lighthouse. The great photos come from the shoreline a quarter mile to the SW, but this will have to do…

Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone NP.
