Before income taxes, there were tariffs. Tariffs basically forced ordinary Americans to fund the treasury. Income taxes shifted that burden to wealthy Americans, forcing them to pay their fair share. Now ordinary Americans have given the Felon permission to burden them once again. #ProudBlue
