I'm waiting on the miniseries that shows you exactly how *many* Bothans died to bring us that information, TYVM

If you have ever had the opportunity to read the first draft of the Star Wars script, you will appreciate how on-the-money this thread is. That draft is... it is not a subtle treatment

Everyone: "Oh no, Chicagoans are going to be insufferable now" Chicagoans: "... uh... yes. Now we will be insufferable. This has not previously been the case. Ahem"

I 100% approve of this. Also, NO KETCHUP.

I wrote my college admissions essay on this! There was a hazing incident with the football team at my HS and the principal spiked a story about it the day before it went to print. Not subtle at all. Good for the student journalists

I mean... no lies detected

The question all citizens and friends of Chicagoland are asking about the new Pope Leo: How does the pontiff like his Italian beef — dry, wet, or dipped?

*superfans voice* DA PRAYERS

Habemas An Enormous Disappointment No Matter Who Is Elected Papem #cheery #helping!

So.... it's literally "What if Tom Haverford was a real person and put in charge of the FBI", is what I'm getting from the two clips I've seen of this hearing. (Speaking of "things that old people like". Parks and Rec went off the air 10 years ago!)

I, an elder millennial, was never cool to begin with. It saves time TBH. I will say that my son's Gen Alpha slang *is* sending me into full "get off my lawn" mode recently. Brain Rot is like "what if we took early-2000s internet culture and made it really, REALLY stupid"

GOD DAMMIT THEY BLINKED, I JUMPED THROUGH THAT HOOP FOR NOTHING. BOOOOO

Uhh... I'm pretty sure there is a Commandment or something that has something to say about this

I'm really depressed about how many people in the comments think this is a plausible DJT plan/NYT article

The greatest description of Star Wars ever by a non-fan. Take it away, Malcolm Tucker

Sure, the ultra-left thinks Oliver Willis is a RW apologist, but at least he never gets crap from mainstream liberals for being too hard on the Democratic Par--*checks notes* oh. Oh no

Me, reading the screenshot and subsequently deciding "how bad could the source post really be" and clicking through:

A+ trolling, well done

Cool cool cool cool cool *hyperventilates into paper bag*

Well! This is just about the worst thing I've ever read. Well done, ad copy guy (who himself probably used AI for this)!

Poor Leonard Cohen's ghost. "I'll put in a reference to I Samuel, that's Old Testament, surely nobody would misinterpret--" "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED"

...I understand how this works because of how light travels across the visible universe, but I still hate it. It intuitively makes no sense. Cosmology makes my brain hurt, which is of course why I devour every popular cosmology book I come across

Sharing is, of course, as Woke as it gets.

Once again, if you don't laugh you'll cry

Chag peach sameach! Courtesy of my almost 10-year-old, here is a Lego Seder plate. (He regrets he was unable to find his bone piece or horseradish and begs your forbearance. I think we'll forgive him)

Is this good guys

Don't know whether I should be sad or relieved to not be on the list in the Reddit thread. (Suppose I don't really post here enough to be an essential follow. I *am* on the Big Milwaukee starter pack!)

The great thing about this post is that no matter how you parse it semantically, it's still accurate! Chag Pesach Sameach, stay weird y'all

This just came across my feed, and I reshare it to encourage my followers to scroll through and relive the original Iron Chef Experience. I think after so many years of Alton Brown we forget how far the OG moved past "quirky" and into "weird AF"

Wait what

Personally I am at the point where I cannot actually tell a) the difference, or b) which scenario is worse. YOU HAVE NO POWER HERE, HANLON'S RAZOR

Help me with this one guys, the GOP claims to be against antisemitism but also officially believes that Jews support illegal immigration to out-compete Real(read: White) Americans Demographically. Is this Good For The Jews or no
