Update on the routing information breach, with numbers. This was indeed a data breach, although there is no report of what caused it. Some speculation that it may be related to DOGE interference. Targeted email sent out yesterday AM to those affected, then a later email to the wider USCG in the PM.

FEMA HQ is actively trying to convince the WH / DOGE that we should be exempt from the probationary RIF due to the "public safety" and "national security" provisions. That's why other agencies have already fired probies and FEMA has not. If we are not found to be exempt, RIFs will go into effect.
