New Starship Troopers film is happening at Sony Pictures, written and directed by Neill Blomkamp (District 9). ➡️ deadline.com/2025/03/star... The new film will go back to the 1959 source material by Robert A. Heinlein and not be based on the 1997 Paul Verhoeven movie.

Can’t believe Twitter keeps crashing despite Elon hiring the best 19-year-old interns that racism has to offer

Unbelievable. Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK. We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man. Agree? Add your name to the petition today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/no...

New MoonSwatch announcement coming March 1st! I don't care what people think but I love these things! Excited to see what this is going to be.

Used Apples Air Pod Pro 2's new hearing aid feature, I've always had issues with my left ear so this loss in in it wasn't a surprise but really impressed with how the AirPods adjust the audio for my needs, made everything sound more balanced and clear which was wonderful to enjoy after 30+ years.

Also managed to watch Bram Stokers Dracula for the first time ever. Really enjoyed the feel of the world created in this move, it's clearly been a point of inspiration by other film makers. Enjoyed the story & characters, Gary Oldman is incredible as Dracula. A bloody good time!

Watched The Gorge in 4k on Apple TV, this one really surprised me, great movie, loved the concept & story, characters, set pieces and overall look and sound, it's all amazing. My top spot for movie of the year so far.

Watched The Northman by Robert Eggers in 4K. Very good looking film, gritty and the Nordic feel and atmosphere is great. Simple story and gets to the point which makes it an easy watch compared to other Eggers films.

Sorry but Ricky Starks appearance on NXT while great to see him and have him in WWE - the whole segment was very flat and dull.

I loved Severance Season 1 but I have managed to fall asleep during every episode of season 2 so far. Just not hooking me like the first season did. I mean had I managed to stay awake I'm sure I've probably missed the good bits so will have to try and watch it again.

If your into TV / Home Cinema / Tech just wanted to share my experience with the Apple TV 4K, it genuinely has brought my TV to life, had the TV 3 years & movies shows have never looked so good. Used the iPhone screen calibration feature and it has made a HUGE difference. Smoother, cleaner image.

Watched Infinity Pool over the last few days, not my normal type of film, very weird with a simple message of if you're rich enough you can buy your way out of anything. Didn't enjoyed it & wouldn't recommend.

Managed to watch the Royal Rumble this morning, great show, both men's and women's Rumble matches were excellent, glad to see Bliss back, hope she goes full Fiend and leads the Wyatt 6. KO is an absolute lunatic, hope his head is ok after those two crazy bumps.

Watched DC League of Super-Pets (with the kids) probably the best movie DC have made in the last 10 years! Keanu as Batman alone make the film 10/10. 4K HDR10+ looked great 🤩

Latest movie: Pacific Rim in 4K HDR If you want some amazing colour and HDR POP this is the movie for you, full screen aspect ratio, looks crisp and it's just dumb fun in the best way! Great soundtrack as well!

OH MY LORD! 😱 ITS HAPPENING!

truly dystopian stuff here, like the last news broadcast during a zombie apocalypse before they go off the air forever

Watched the new 4K release of Se7en, another classic I haven't watched in about 20 years but better than I remember it. The 4K transfer is very good and Kevin Spacey in one of his best roles, pure evil - brilliant.

WWE's Saturday Nights Main Event is brilliant, enjoyed it more than RAW & Smackdown. Love the classic look and feel with Refs in bow ties etc

'DOOM: The Dark Ages' details 🎮 • No multiplayer — it’s a single-player campaign game • Largest campaign ever • Includes sequences where you fly on a dragon and control a 30-story walking mech • More story told from gameplay and cutscenes compared to previous games (via Game File)

Managed to watch the movie Constantine, haven't seen this one in a few years but as a fan of Keanu Reeves I wanted to give it another go. Have to say story is decent and the effects are very good considering its age. Definitely worth a watch especially now it's in 4K.

Nice PlayStation Direct today, can't wait play Doom the Dark Ages and Ninja Gaiden 4 😉

Live footage of Musk:

Well the Fascists are very much back in power over in America. Felt sick and angry watching some of the Trump coverage, had to switch off. What a shit show.

Just re bought 'Lord of War' with Nicholas Cage in 4K, haven't watched it in a few years but a very dark film that I somehow always enjoy watching. Now I'll have to watch it again because it's in 4K 🤩

Finished Silo Season 2, definitely took a few episodes to get going but ended extremely strong with a very interesting last scene! Roll on season 3!

Finished watching Gladiator 2 last night, really enjoyed it, one of the most visually stunning films I've seen in a long time. Doesn't have the emotional depth of the first but characters were great and some really good moments. A good time had.

Tonight's Movie: Gladiator 2. Well, with our kids at the minute it's likely to take a few nights 🤣

Movies watched so far: The Silence of the Lambs - Classic why not. Longlegs - Nick Cage plays one of the creepiest bad guys in recent memory, gripped all the way through. Civil War - Really enjoyed it, scary how close to being real it is. Wallace & Grommet Vengeance Most Foul - Instant Classic

Wanting to watch more movies this year so gonna try and remember to post when I watch one with a quick impression thrown in for anyone that cares.
