finished the adashima anime adaptation with my partner who's never read the novels. they liked it, and i was very pleased with how much the show captured the quirkiness and sometimes unnerving elements of the work. need more people to hop on adashima and get poisoned by its vibes.

cleared the normal mode of warriors abyss in 6 hours. i found the game way too easy with sophie, so i'm glad there's a lot of ng+ modes. i'm glad the alchemists are actually meta. being a cute alchemist is better than being an ossan from rotk or sengoku.

uh wow, adashima 99.9 is probably one of the best novels i've read. i can't believe iruma went this hard on stories meant for the anime blu-rays. i know the framing is likely original, but jesus. it reminded me how adashima is a long but magical journey. i can't believe the scale of this series.

started watching the anime adaptation of adashima. it's peak mid 2000s anime in a good way: it captures the quirky yuri mumblecore inconsistency of the novels, and i'm loving the moment-to-moment jank. maybe, i'll get the audiobooks. i'm liking the series more than i realized lol.
