It was all based on rumors other kids spread about us, but, we were just nerds/outcasts who dressed a little weird. I'll never forget being that young and getting pulled into a room with two detectives grilling me over something I had no idea about.

The year was 1999. I was a movie nerd and dressed like Silent Bob, trenchcoat/backwards hat. An incident occurred half-way across the country. The following week, police came and illegally questioned me and a friend about being in the trenchcoat mafia and planning an event of our own.
