Evidence of public support gives lawmakers more clout with their colleagues to keep doing what they're doing. Constituent encouragement becomes influence.

Question for @markelias.bsky.social or other attorneys: For law firms that Bent the Knee or Complied In Advance, would clients of those firms have reason to fear that the firm could drop or compromise the client’s case at the request of the administration? Seems like a great way to lose clients.

Reminder that Meta is a horribly evil company, converting mental heath declines (particularly teenage girls) into shareholder profits. When I ask folks why they’re still on FB or Insta, I usually hear a fear of losing contact. We have phones in our pockets; is it really that hard to stay in touch?
