This is an amazing (and somewhat scary) tool that tracks the completion of the initiatives in Project 2025. Remarkably, they are already at 36% in just over a month.

I think it's not quite that framing. Apple is going out of its way to appease Trump without actually doing anything of consequence. That's opposed to other companies altering their entire structure in order to gain favor.
In a world with Trump as President, I think Apple is doing what it can.

Somehow I think MagSafe will be the saving grace here. Attach a wallet or battery pack and the bar is no longer an issue. Apple just leans into accessories that make holding and setting the iPhone down straightforward.

One case design I think would be interesting with the bar is one that makes the entire body flush with the bar so only the lenses stick out a bit. If that's too thick, then utilize the space for something cool.
The magnetic leather backs I use would be interesting with this design.

Still, I'm not convinced. I want to hear about the camera bar from Gurman or Kuo before it becomes likely.
In any case, if the bar does exist, I expect Apple will have a way of making it look good. Render artists aren't Apple designers. And it will likely serve a purpose beyond aesthetics.
