The way I've learned Japanese is really unorthodox. I started watching a lot of anime with jp voice over and rus sub at 13. Then, studied 1 lesson of minna no nihongo with basic grammar structure at 15. And at 16, I've started reading manga in japanese and somehow I understood it all. Pure magic
