Rebooted an old external server. Found some poetry. Save date is 19 years ago. I'm convinced that there's no WAY I wrote it, but I can't find a poem with the title recorded in the file through any online searches. It's just too...good to actually be mine! Anyone else ever had this experience?

Two things I didn't have on my January bingo card: An airplane crash blamed on diversity hiring and a TB Outbreak. Looks like I better trade in my Feburary card, the one the caller handed me doesn't have enough batshit crazy on it.

I did it. I cancelled my Washington Post subscription today. I've been a subscriber for the better part of a decade, but I can't trust that paper to tell me the truth anymore, and that saddens me beyond measure. Off to substack to support independent journalism.
