and much like in game dev, my identity hinges on legacy artifacts that i dare not touch because i'm pretty sure something will break if i do

may the failure in your signal chain be the cheap connector thing that you have 3 spares of.

Do you ever wonder how you make a ledgegrab? I did, and I will show you how I made it (a thread 🧡): #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame #indiegames #surfnturfgame

the game hasn't had any updates in well over a decade which is a shame imo, it had so much potential

Some ambient Mashina footage with music

damn i really thought fx pedal shopping would be a quick in and out 20 minute adventure

born to tinker, forced to pitch to investors

my vocal range might only be half of what it once was but at least i got that sweet raspy voice now 😎

turning over a new leaf no more self reposting

my work isn't "content" and i don't want it to be "consumed" ok thanks

Every time I see talk about accessibility, it's about people with physical limitations. And that's good to make your game accessible to them. But to me, accessibility is also making your game accessible to people who can't afford a new computer. Efficiency is accessibility. #indiegamedev #solodev

new video in which the Leftist Cooks remind us that we're all just playing pretend at this 'adult' thing. you know, like kids.

it's now several months later and i still haven't recovered from the starter packs

growing up with hardship may have resulted in chronic mental illness, but at least i am now anti-authoritarian 😎

life advice or whatever youtu.be/xbO_rtqgjHk

at the end of the day you still have to learn to be polite

wow who knew it could feel so good to no longer have my passions held hostage by deadlines and financial incentives

Here’s an idea for you to mull over: I could write music for you. You could give me money and I could do it. The music would be good and done in a reasonable timeframe and everything. Just something to consider

yep i'm quitting lmao

not for the first time, i'm seriously considering walking away from my uni and a future career in game dev. but this time feels like a turning point in my psyche; like i might be so much happier elsewhere. might try my hand at teaching music

three statements that can be simultaneously true: - you are suffering greatly under systematic oppression - you are complicit or actively participating in systematic oppression - you are not inherently evil or rotten it is likely that all three are true. the third is definitely true.

apparently the criteria for companies at game dev internship fairs is to be as dull and soulless as humanly possible. that or be an indie team who will no longer exist next fiscal year
