Foggy and frosty #UnconfinedWalks this morning.

Gentle #UnconfinedWalks today. Very lucky to have the river nearby for when I need a dose of blue and green but lack the energy or capacity to do anything more challenging.

After a slow start, #UnconfinedWalks to a fun day out with friends. We went all the way to Mars!

Started the day unable to get into the office (expired pass card). Wish I could take that as a cue to go home, but we're too short staffed for that.

Last day of a long weekend. Housework, haircut, and #UnconfinedWalks around town. With a stop for #TeaUp.

On 24 February 1909 Suffragettes attempted to break into the Houses of Parliament. Hope: The LEGO Suffragette is at The University of Warwick until 28 February 2025. Her visit commemorates 75 years since the election of the first female MP for Coventry, Elaine Burton. #LegoSuffragette

Water three ways on today's #UnconfinedWalks. Sea (Deal), lake (London), and river (Maidstone) - with trains in between!

A farewell to the coast #TeaUp before heading home.

Discworld QOTD, from I Shall Wear Midnight “She heard him mutter, 'Can you take away this grief?' 'I'm sorry,' she replied. 'Everyone asks me. And I would not do so even if I knew how. It belongs to you. Only time and tears take away grief; that is what they are for.’”

A more coastal #UnconfinedWalks today. Still in excellent company. I enjoy walking alone, setting my own oavr and route, but the right company can bring so much joy to a walk. Also passed the site I worked 20+ years ago.

Lovely, bracing #UnconfinedWalks along the Kent coast. Just what I needed today.

So one of the things that I think is lost on AI proponents is what I call the card catalog effect, a thing I shouldn’t call it because a lot of people probably have no experience with a card catalog.

Is it Friday yet? (Or even better #ConfinedCocktails time)

Enjoying having a bit of light on my #UnconfinedWalks to the station. And a half moon still visible.

Bright and chilly #UnconfinedWalks this morning with long shadows.

Some days you need familiar #UnconfinedWalks where you don't need to think about directions and can just enjoy the signs of spring.

Mid walk #TeaUp earlier.

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990. One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS. #LGBTplusHistoryMonth

#UnconfinedWalks anxiously prepping for a forthcoming weekend away. Brought essentials* to pack, and spotted signs of spring on my way home. *Essentials = wine and yarn. I already had books so think I'm ready 😆

Indecisive and ultimately pointless #UnconfinedWalks after work. Largely involving screaming internally at tourists (my fault for picking that route). Did spot this replica penny farthing and these cheery flowers.

It's #dpc #digitalpreservation #ff Follow Friday. This week a simple reflection. Data has never mattered more, and never more fragile. #DPC and the #digipres community have expertise and contacts that will help with that. Spread the word and save the bits.

Unusually had #UnconfinedWalks at lunchtime today, and in a direction I haven't walked for a while. This pub has changed vibe since I last past it.

Join us on a short #LGBTQHistoryMonth thread as we look into a symbol of identity, solidarity and love, hidden between plain covers and written under an alias at a time when being openly yourself could be a criminal offence #LGBTHM

Ok, slightly odd request. Is there some kind person out there who lives near Bebington in the Wirral and would have the opportunity to take a picture of my parent’s memorial bench in Storeton Woods for me? I don’t live locally and have yet to see it.

Traces of #TeaUp past 😢

Keeping hydrated at dancing with #TeaUp.

I had this quote pinned above my desk when I was at university.

Atmospheric* #UnconfinedWalks along the Wealdway today. *grey, damp and muddy!
