Love a good episode recording rain delay as the thunder reaches levels to be picked upon the mic.

We Americans are known for our propensity to give up. I am glad Vance is honoring that legacy.

I need a historian who loves statistics (or the other way around) to develop the military history equivalent of Wins Above Replacement in Baseball. Something like Effective Combat Value to allow easier discussion of relative strength of different military formations.

If you're working on the topic of India in historical we would love to try and fill this topic for our book. 🗃️

Having just finished Andor the only problem I have with it is that it is the best Star Wars has been, and maybe ever will be. The focus on human emotions, the realities of living under a totalitarian regime, and the spy-story tension felt right in the SW setting, but not easily replicated.

Have not started last batch of Andor eps, but if I don’t get at least one good Saw monologue on the theory of revolution I am going to be real sad.

Looking forward to going on the excellent @fightingonfilm.bsky.social podcast to discuss 'Stukas' (1941) & wartime depictions of the Luftwaffe in Nazi propaganda, as I dissect in #EagleDays. Patreon supporters - get your questions in soon using their link below! 👇 www.patreon.com/posts/128756...
