I don't think there is any good reason to believe either of them, but is there any way of working out whether it was Israel or Iran that broke the cease fire?

I have an odd sense of humour. Maybe that's why I only attract odd women. news.ku.edu/news/article...

South America has an agreement in place whereby none of them have nuclear weapons. It's been working for about 50 years. Just a thought. There may be other regions that could adopt the same approach. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_...

What are the best flag jacking options for Americans right now?

It's one of those things like "the velvet underground only sold 6,000 records but everyone who bought it started their own band" but for everyone who answered "yes" to this being given a national newspaper column

Iraq. Iran. I’d be worried if I lived in Ireland.

This is the best coverage I’ve found of the Iran rubble tickle raid earlier today. www.youtube.com/live/3P7F2YA...

Wars are easy to start and hard to stop. The opposite of my car.

I’m sure they were using one of those advanced bombs that have a reset button. So if it turns out to be a military, diplomatic and political disaster they can just unexplode it and put everything back to how it was.

A country can be set up on the basis of history, and that country has a right to self defence with the US backing that up with their armed forces. My plan is some Brits with ancestors who were pirates get together. We seize an island by force, drive out the inhabitants and set up a pirate kingdom.

Could Iran just buy a nuclear weapon?

In algebra x can be used where the same function can be applied to different values. So for example- Any steps are justified in preventing a ruthless aggressive country like x getting nuclear weapons. x can be Iran or Israel.

One of my earliest memories is of seeing American planes dropping bombs on North Vietnam on the telly. Much later in life I learned that it had had no effect on the war at all.

Gadolinium and cerium shortages as a result of Chinese licensing controls might make it difficult for Israel to replenish its interceptor missiles. But then they are rare earths.

Set phasers to self-reflection

So if you have some money to invest, would you invest it in Tel Aviv property right now?

If might not be palatable, but it is possible that the most effective way to combat the influence of Israel is simply to outbid them with American politicians.

Tel Aviv. Missiles are going through the roof. As are insurance premiums.

I had no idea Iran was able to overcome Israel’s air defences. I wonder what else I don’t know.

17 waves of attacks on the colony so far.

I'm off to see Handel's Saul later today. It depicts a power struggle in Palestine with lots of intrigue and power play, with violence breaking out. It will make a nice change from the news.
