Julia is the manager of the apartment I am renting in Tuscany. When she heard me drive up just now she came out to tell me, “Il nuovo Papa è Americano.” I just watched the first address of Pope Leone XVI with Julia and her husband. He seems sincere. It is quite touching actually.

We shouldn’t compare this to the treatment of Clinton’s emails or how much more they would have freaked out if this has been Biden. Hypocrisy is not as powerful a focal point dangerous incompetence. Taking the focus off of anything but that is a mistake.
