the former USA needs a way to trigger a re-election based on no confidence and how much more than some percentage of its citizens object to a government. At the very least if Elon can threaten judges with firing them, then so should the peoples be able to do with governments.

it's bad though Trump could place any of his stooges into the judiciary to begin with. The obvious problem right now is that when if an "elected" (bullshit) body could fire 1% of judges, it wouldn't stay at 1% + that even if Musk & Trump aren't aiming for authoritarianism, they're paving the way.
