Similar question to before. If I hosted a tabletop game day with a charity donation buy in and $1/reroll would you be interested in donating and playing?

If I ran a TTRPG one-shot for charity would you be interested in playing with a $20/donation buy in and $1/reroll option? If you would which TTRPG would you be interested in playing?

I’ve been playing Avowed the past few days and I’m really enjoying it. Obsidian has made another good game.

Important safety tip. When you buy quart bottles of lime juice at H-Mart the bottles don’t have limiters on them. So a bit becomes a lot if you aren’t paying attention. Thankfully it’s not inedible but woah lime!

Show the love this Valentine's Day by donating to my Extra Life campaign to benefit Seattle Children's Hospital. www.extra-life.org/participant/...

Aw, nuts! I was really excited about this book. Here’s hoping May finds another way to get this out.

Some kid on TikTok called Coheed & Cambria’s Welcome Home “Divorced Dad Rock,” and I wanna scream! 🤣

Can we stop with the live-action remakes of animated movies? What’s wrong with some original stories?

I’ve signed up to raise money for the Seattle Children’s Hospital again via Extra Life. Please donate if you can because having had to spend a lot of time in the hospital as a kid I know how it sucks. If you can’t donate that’s ok too. I know times are tough.

I’m awake! And hungry!

I’m playing Alan Wake Remastered as part of diving into the Remedyverse and getting to Alan Wake 2. I’ve played before but damn I love the story in this game. Gimmie more @samlakewrites.bsky.social !

This sucks. I’m stuck at work and I’m certain an album was delivered today.

Song for the day. youtu.be/gxKcoOHzrZw?...

I wondered why this “Tool & similar artists” playlist was playing Heart. It turns out I misread the title and it’s actually “Toto & similar artists.”

Thanks to Pete and Sea of Tranquility I’m listening to Gentle Giant’s Free Hand at work. I remember going to a Three Friends show in Chicago and my buddy asked afterwards, “Are you a Gentle Giant fan?” My answer? “I am now!”

On a whim I wanted to watch a show from my childhood and chose Lost in Space. I’ve never seen this episode listed as season 1, episode 1. No Dr. Smith? No Robot? Turns out it’s an unaired pilot. I’m glad they changed the show as we need Dr. Smith.

Yay, my Christmas gift from my brother arrived! Boo, I already own The Wake of Magellan on vinyl. This is what I get for not checking Discogs before using a gift certificate to place an order.

The hardest part of my morning is choosing the music for the day. I want something good to enjoy while I work but not too good which makes me stop to listen.

We might not have the same tastes in painting, music, books, or other art but please always tell me about what you love. At worst I’ll enjoy your excitement and joy. At best you’ll introduce me to something new that I will also love.

Damn, the earbook versions are sold out but I snagged the red vinyl edition. Now to go spin some other SW albums from my collection.

I watched a video titled “10 Essential Progressive Rock Albums to Blow Your Mind.” It was a decent list and I own every album on it. Yet it was stuck in the early 70s. Prog rock is still going strong, dammit.

Finally watching Robin of Sherwood. Yeah, I know I’m late but it finally got added to a service I have. I hope it holds up to the good things I’ve heard.

Second book of 2025. I love Kolchak and watched the show a ton. Looking forward to this.
