Sources are telling me: “Ty Jerome”

Some late night Xs & Os yesterday with Cal vs. USC in Big Ten action. Double Screen to DHO Flip to Pin Down for Blacksher to get an open 3. The shot's not there, so he backs out and calls for the perfectly executed ghost screen to get some space for the jumper.

If the Cavs beat the Celtics on Tuesday… …I prefer not to speak

The first play out of the gate for Michigan State yesterday trying to get Jaxon Kohler an early post-touch using the dive off the Iverson cut, and then a cross-screen. They then flow into a middle-third flex action which gets Zapala an easy slip to the basket.

Just told my 3 year old that we have to watch the Cleveland Browns today. To which he replied “can we watch The Grinch instead?” A man of true vision and intellect.

Jakob Poeltl getting 35/12 on the defending champions is not something I had on my NBA bingo card. Nevertheless, here's one of my favorite sets from the Raptors last night: Flare the ghost screen, Dick reads White going over the screen and curls outside the lane while Poeltl rolls down the middle.

Mike Tyson is closer to qualifying for social security than he is to Jake Paul’s age and yall thought he would compete over 8 rounds?

An underappreciated stat from the Cavs' 14-0 start this season: 1st in average points per game but 23rd in average free throw attempts per game. No foul-baiting refball for them, they're winning with honor

There is a formula for success in the modern NBA. The last 10 NBA champions have these qualities with only a few outliers. - Top 10 MVP vote getter - Drafted 3 out of 5 starters - Top 10 Offensive Rating - Top 10 Defensive Rating - Top 5 Net Rating Here are the teams that COULD fit that criteria:

Loved seeing the Cavs maintain their offensive dominance without one of their core 4 last night. They will have to play through adversity all season and they showed they can adapt, adjust, and find ways to win.

Tristan Thompson playing for the Cavs and Mike Tyson fight in the year of our Lord 2024.

12 NBA Cup games on a Friday night is exactly what God intended for his people

How much is this offer worth from the Pirates for this card? 30 years of lost revenue for those two seats is not nothing… and all that extra stuff on top. My guess is $6-7 million — is that too low?

Bill Self ran this play once early in the first half and again late in the game with under 2 minutes. Simple action out of a diamond set to get a dominant post an easy look under the basket. Clear the backside by sending the opposite forward to either ball screen or flash to the high post.

I knew JJ Reddick was going to provide some sweet Xs and Os after listening to the Mind the Game podcast this summer. Here's a great quick hitter for Knecht to get off a shot out of a horns set. The extra to Hachimura would've been WIDE open too.

Following back all my sports junkies! Let's run it up together!

Can I just say how refreshing it is watching Cavs basketball right now? A team with 0 ego, hungry, plays good (read "team") basketball, with a coach who knows how to get the most out of these guys. No players over 30 minutes per game, and yet they have the best offensive rating and PPG in the NBA.

Love this action from Cleveland the other night -- having 5 shooters on the floor in this small ball lineup, they use the horns set and fake the rip screen to get Merrill open on the hand off. When the backside defender tags the roller, Merrill has the court vision to find Mitchell in the corner.

We keep saying it, but y'all aren't really listening - what we are seeing from this man may never be replicated ever again. He is still in his prime at 40 years old.
