As an American, what’s really upsetting about all this is the fact that IF we put & KEPT smart people in charge, we’d have universal healthcare, quality education, affordable higher education, and probably f*ing flying cars by now. Instead we’re still dickering over who has basic human rights.

This is Annie. She spent the first 15 months living under my bed. It took another three months for her to work up the courage to go down the stairs. She’s now “mostly” normal & loves belly rubs & playing with the other pups. She even -occasionally- gives me kisses. Never give up. Change is coming.
