As the dog is yelping in her dreams outside my door, I cannot tell whether she is chasing a deer, searching for a squirrel, or escaping the scary clumps of frogspawn she has encountered throughout the entire week.

For Good Friday, the thirteenth-century Crucifixion scene from the ciborium of Ål stave church, currently housed in the Museum of Cultural History, Oslo.

For Holy Week a fabulous Viking Jesus found near Aunslev church in Denmark in 2016. 4.1 cms high, made of two thin gold plates and decorated with gold thread. An almost identical figure was found at Birka and similar fragments have turned up in Denmark, mostly in female graves. @Vikingemuseet
