If you’re a current/former US government employee or contractor in the cybersecurity space and want to chat securely, my Signal is couts.01

In or near Doylestown Pa, Emergency. I need to find someone who can foster my 2 cats for a while. I will supply all food, litter, supplies, theyre very tame. I cant keep them in my car with me. I have plenty of food and litter for them.

Imagine you were the richest man in the world. You could have anything you wanted, go anywhere you wished, do whatever took you fancy. How would you spend your weekend? Depriving the poorest people in the world of food and healthcare and boasting about it?

So pretty! and fuzzy horse makes it A+

Wishing good healing to Sierra Leone.

Better for judges to completely disregard what any horse does with his or her tail while showing, than to artificially alter a horse's tail carriage.

In case any of y'all are nearby and interested.

Continuing with the Sir Barton theme this Black History Month, I'd like to recognize the gentleman at Sir Barton's head, his devoted groom Warren "Toots" Thompson. As J.K.M. Ross shared in Boots and Saddles, this horseman was one of the few humans that the first Triple Crown winner liked.

"RIVER THAMES ($3.40) has a gear the others don't have" - Announcer Pete Aiello Todd Pletcher trains the Maclean's Music colt for owners WinStar Farm. John Velazquez was in the saddle of the undefeated three-year-old.

Love this. "The Eddie Truman Library will be based in a backstretch recreation center and will include books donated by Truman. The library will include titles in English and Spanish... "The track is accepting book donations at the security booth at gate 8, off Baldwin Ave." πŸ‡

July 18, 1991β€”a wicked hot day at Rockingham Park, figuratively and literally. My photography wasn't great ... but here's gorgeous Marquetry, who won the New England Classic that sweltering afternoon. The American Championship Racing Series (ACRS) for older horses sure was fun while it lasted!

Sigh. I miss when the best U.S. dirt fillies and mares raced 10 furlongs and more. πŸ‡

Sometimes a horse just catches your eye. This was 3-year-old Green Fee (Green Dancer-Raska, by Rahy) at Saratoga before running 6th in an August 22, 1999 inner turf allowance. Three years later, he won the Grade 2 Kelso at Belmont and ran 5th in the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Arlington Park. πŸ‡

My 2003 Hopeful Stakes pics include: BIRDSTONE! Hitting the gate at start, he rallied five wide & finished 4th. Next year he foiled Smarty Jones's Triple Crown bid. Also won the Travers in a thunderstorm. We ran out in the rain, cheering beside the winner's circle where Marylou Whitney celebrated.

The cup won by Battleship, son of Man o' War, for the 1938 Grand National Steeplechase at Aintree, England, is the most beautiful trophy I've ever seen. During a 2019 Racing Museum visit, it was fun finding this beauty on display in a repurposed space that used to be my office! πŸ‡

This advice probably works with nervous people, too. πŸ˜€

β€œShe was so sound and healthy on the racetrack and that carried over into her broodmare career and into retirement. She's still very healthy. She just amazes us all the time. Occasionally she'll even still give us a little run when she gets turned out if she's excited.” πŸ’•

Feeling as if this Standardbred "been there, done that" former racer will made someone an excellent mosey-along pal. πŸ’• newvocations.org/horse_detail...

War Admiral, Seattle Slew, Alydar, Easy Goer, "Fifty Years of Champions," Lady's Secret, Ruffian, and Secretariat prints. Wowza! πŸ€—

Sir Barton and the Making of the Triple Crown will be part of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame's Book Club this April! I hope you will join us at the Museum or via Zoom (like me) for a fun discussion about Sammy's story. Happy Reading!

Look who's coming back in March. Good luck to an outstanding horsemen. www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/jimmy-jerken...
