I try not to be too negative on my socials but Battlefield 2042 was SO BAD. It's really unimaginably bad. I'm upset about it because I love the Battlefield series and to see a BF entry that is unplayable-- quite literally not able to be played-- seriously saddens me :(

Battlefield V i feel was near BF1 tier (best) with a few significant drawbacks that lowered the longevity. - No service stars - No secondary weapon customization - No taking dogtags on melee kills - Short and rigid weapon specialization system There's more, too, but those are the big ones IMO.

An issue I'm having with Elden Ring is that it's not giving me enough options for dressup early on. I'm only level 8 (started Deprived or whatever it's called in this one) but I'm finding there to be a lack of armor/clothing drops or options from merchants. Maybe this will improve later..?

I think lots of people form a negative opinion of Overwatch because they play a lot of quick play. No doubt there are comp dislikers, too, but man QP is so much more unfun IME.

Something special to me about Back 4 Blood is how the music punctuates the gameplay without overshadowing it. Due to sensory issues, I typically turn off music in games because it is just too much audio input for me to be able to focus on the game.

I think Overwatch should replace the tank shield icon with a stylized overhead view of a tank (like one you would see in warfare). I think that would help players get how it works rather than thinking it works like WoW tanking.

Really loving Back 4 Blood. What a killer game. I was such a huge enjoyer of the L4D games and this feels like an honest L4D3 to me. The way the weapons feel to use is my new gold standard for what firearms should feel like in an FPS.

I think it's ok, sometimes it's even good, if a game is not and endless live-service project. I think it's ok for devs to go "ok that's all we got on this project. Thanks" and then simply let the game be playable in that final state ad infinitum

Something I think we don't give enough attention to is how good the newer Overwatch 2 gamemodes are. Push, Flashpoint, and Clash are all stellar and I'm always excited to be playing any of those modes. The classic payload and KOTH are obvious winners but they added onto them so well!

The Outer Worlds setting initially struck me as kind of heavy-handed and goofy. But the characters, the people, they're written so authentically that the heavy-handedness feels like real life rather than hamfisted writing. Spectacular ✨
