There's just so many fewer ways to show other players what you like to do in the game than in BF1. I don't get why those things were not desirable to keep in the game from BF1 -> BFV.

I played a couple matches as Illari since this patch (before I even read the notes) and she does feel substantially better with just that extra 16% beam resource.

But yeah Point is, I think competitive mode is the only real mode if you want a fair match to sweat in. I love playing comp and I think people should try it out if they're exclusively QP people. Thanks for readin 🩷

It's definitely not my rank influencing our QP MMR or something; I'm only silver-gold on almost all my roles. But we're up against diamonds and masters! Every game on both teams there's diamonds and masters and we just can't hang. My friend actually does better than I do in these lobbies! x_x

B4B's music-- like L4D's before it-- feels like a nice garnish or seasoning on top of the gameplay rather than an entire separate meal for you to focus on right next to the meal you're already working on. Loving this game so much.

I think I liked the OW1 rank icons more! Rare thing I like less about OW2. The simpler Platinum rank icon was more to my liking, at least.

For real though I'm back in Outer Worlds rn and man whattagame. I'm just finding my first Mk2 weapons and I am hyped to finally be able to suppress weapons. Having a 10/10 time with the game still!

The core gameplay-- moving around, shooting, time dilation, jump-dodging, all just feels so GOOD. I haven't played another FPS RPG that feels this good.

My favorite weapon so far is the Spacer's Choice Revolver (I am a revolver fan) and I'm astonished at how good it is. And you can Tinker with things to boost the damage?? This is crazy!!!
