In 1976 the USA was gearing up for its 200th 🎂, and I was having my political awaking. While Watergate didn’t make sense to me as kid, seeing that anyone could indeed rise to Prez was inspiring. Only met him once at a book signing, & wish I told him that -instead of asking my lame topical question

Maybe I’ve missed this, but has anyone yet brought up the fact a Gaetz confirmation hearing would allow Dems to question the former congressman about his involvement in Jan 6th and those blanket pardons he wanted? Senator Shiff should be on top of that.

Ultimately fascists rely on propaganda not on voting segments. We need more counters to the constant lies on FOX News and media ecosystems of influencers & miscreants around it. I don’t recall in histories of Hitler’s rise to power anyone blaming poor ethnic Polish turnout in Westphalia.
