It is going to be hilarious to watch Reform pretending they can cut local government even further while coping with actual spending necessities. They don't ever explain what the problem is with spending on services for we plebs.

Is it better to pretend it's a normal 3pm kick off tomorrow, miss watching the Stoke game, and remain in blissful ignorance until it is all over?

I listened to Richard Tice on the radio - a broken record with his turn the boats back to France rhetoric. Do France then do the same, passing them back to the next country, and so on? Does it then become OK because it is not 'our' problem? 1 of 2

Reform - the incompetence continues www.itv.com/news/granada...

Up the Robins! interesting that Sale Sharks owners Simon and Michelle Orange are now also investing in Altrincham FC. altrincham.todaynews.co.uk/sport-and-le...

Happy #StaffordshireDay. Is this (Mow Cop) the marker between the North West of England and the West Midlands...border country?

A reminder for those who get a vote tomorrow...

Sad news. Perhaps one of the best known pottery brands closes. www.bbc.com/news/article...

I let this chap paint my house. When he finished the job, it was all yellow 😉

Question: Could a UK government survive a headline like this? A few years ago it would have been unthinkable. With the rise of Farage and co, are we going towards a Trumpist future?

My feature on the growth of #padel is included in the May edition of Cheshire Life Magazine. Padel is a huge phenomenon. It's 2nd only to football as a sport to play in Spain & is on the rise in Cheshire. I visited The Padel Club, Wilmslow, which is set to double in size from 4 to 8 courts. 1of2

There's a sports news presenter on @bbc5live.bsky.social who keeps saying Paris SAint-Germain, with a hard 'A'. It has always been 'san' Germain, a soft 'a', hasn't it?

Sounds like the Canadians gave Trump a kicking. A reason to be cheerful.

Hi @paulwilliams207.bsky.social, I know you are on top of this, so what would be the financial & reputational cost for Stoke-on-Trent, if Stoke City lost Championship status next weekend? I assume there must be consequences for both the football stadium & wider local economy, is that right?

Salah's selfie. It was not what it seems. He didn't spontaneously grab a phone from a fan. It was a member of Liverpool FC's staff. The phone is a Pixel 9 - Liverpool FC's official phone partner. Is this ok? Or is it manipulation? Will this lead to a backlash? Own goal or back of the net?

Does anyone agree with this? There's no way the chairman/owner should be lambasting players in the dressing room, is there? Players would already be humiliated after shipping 70 points! www.rugbypass.com/news/rob-hun...

This remains very funny
