Here's where the disaster starts, after we left Joliet the train randomly goes into emergency and comes to a stop. Moments later the conductor says "folks we are stopped here due to our ITCS system failing to work..."

Currently going on an adVENTURE that is going to be the Lincoln Service... Yo @amtrak.com you need to not put Midwest cars into service that have very obviously been graffitied or with torn wraps on them bc that's bad for optics. (as is this upcoming trip is going to be)

At milepost 1.10 on the Rock Island and built in 1901, it's 16th St Tower. In the not too distant future it will become level with the ground and cease to exist as the intersection here is now fully controlled at the Consolidated Control Facility just across the river.

While I didn't have that much of a depressive wave at the funeral, the only thing I felt sad about was remembering when he asked me to take him on a tour around IRM and I was happy to do it :(

On a serious note, my uncle on my mother's side passed away from prostate cancer taking over his body. I didn't interact with him that much but he did gift me a B&O lantern and switch lock from the 1940s that was handed down from my great grandpa who worked on the Wabash.

This was the funniest thing I could think of after getting out of a funeral service.

This and doing some insanely gay things in bed.
