I want angry incense for July fourth. One request don’t buy the noisy firecrackers they’re traumatic for pets and can also affect veterans with PTSD. Angry incense is just pretty.

I’m sure there are classes for this somewhere, ladies😁👍

The raccoon wins🤬 Boarded up the entrance to the patio. Nope Got one of those flashing light/sound thingys. Nope Mat with plastic barbs to prevent access. Nope No hummingbird feeders up after dusk. Maybe. I’m out of ideas. Little shit. Photo credit Froggy5

Happy Father’s Day to all the WOMEN who had to become father and mother because the ‘fathers’ bailed on their kids and their obligations. 💕 PS: HFD to all the good guys past and present who lovingly did their job. 💕

So proud of Arvada! Almost constant honking, thumbs up, and waves from cars. Got about four white guys flipping us off and one MAGA Moron who was in a pickup bedecked with 🍊🤡 flags who drove around the block and got soundly booed every time. Curious to see the final crowd count. Someone said 5k.

A real president—respect, dignity, no felonies or rape convictions, no bankruptcies, no adultery.

See how happy you can make an author by buying a book and asking for an autograph? We’re very easy to please🥰 Thanks to all of my Presbyterian Medical Center nurse mates who mentioned reading and enjoying my books. #authors #autographs

The ebook of Legacy of Secrets is FREE Wednesday 6/11 and Thursday 6/12. Don’t miss out on the promo. Other families pass down their stories, Kate Earnshaw’s family secrets disappear from one generation to the next. Her search for answers unearths more than she bargained for.

I ordered a top from this company (very nice material and construction and not made in China) and this note was wrapped around this tiny pencil. Writing stories is important.🥰📚

Today’s rainy day harvest. The flowers love the rain, me? I’d go for a little sunshine.

Cool, misty, and rainy, but the Flatirons (Boulder) are gorgeous. 🥰

This is a peony I’ve had for so long I have no idea what its name is, but this morning I walked past it and it has a subtle, sweet fragrance. I didn’t know peonies had scents. 🥰🌸

An estranged friend, an urgent request, and a life-changing decision. The ebook of The Mad Hatter’s Son is always $0.99 and in KU. Available in paperback and audiobook as well. Begin the journey with Annie Collins. #mysteryseries

Morning in the garden with Bean, my constant companion. Last summer there was a little toad that had a burrow in the white ground cover. Haven’t seen him yet but maybe Bean’s hoping he returns. 💕

A Freebooksy email listed a book that looked interesting. Read a sample & writing had issues (word choice, etc), then there was the audiobook notification ⬇️. I believe they used AI to write at least some of the book. So, no sale not even if the book is free. AI is theft and shouldn’t be supported. 🤬

I was given this miniature rose as a ‘houseplant.’ I tried to keep it happy for about a month and it was clear it wasnt going survive. I planted in my garden figuring it’d survive or not. Four years down the line and it blooms every summer. Glad I didn’t give up on it. 💕🌹

We are soul mates😁

I never thought my country would become somewhere people are afraid to travel or protest or comment against the government, afraid of being kidnapped by masked unidentified men & taken to god knows where. Where the elderly & disadvantaged are denied care. Terrifying & enraging & unutterably sad.😢🤬

First tiny strawberries from my new plants 🎉 the peonies on the east side of the house are starting to bloom and I can’t wait for the dark pinks and the whites to bloom. Today’s two bouquets. 😁💕🌸

Small girl, I can totally relate and trust me you are not small. 😂😂

The pinks have taken over my yard🥰 but as a Coloradan used to the sun, I have to say I’m really tired of the cool, rainy, foggy weather. I guess a move to England or Scotland is probably not the best idea😢

To all who served and sacrificed, thank you.

Trip to Ireland back in the day. And they wonder why tourists are always lost 😂😂😂

First bouquet of the season from my garden 💕🐝🌸

It’s a ‘free breakfast’ at the hotel I spent the night at, so no huge expectation, but cold eggs, potatoes, undercooked sausage, and no bacon??? Jeez Louise. 🙄

If you’re local, I'll be at the Mountain of Authors event on Saturday (5/17) sponsored by the Pikes Peak Library District in Colorado Springs. It's a free event. Check it out research.ppld.org/mountainofau...

Spring in Colorado—the start of highway repair season, blocked roads, rerouted traffic, waiting for the ‘slow’ sign to turn so you can drive the now one-lane road.

First iris to bloom. 💕 My garden is a refuge, a break from the chaos around me.

Today’s the day to plant my annuals. They’ve been hardened off for several days (it’s Colorado, so you never know if it’ll snow). I choose a lot of plants that attract bees and hummingbirds. I love this time of year. 💕🐝🐞🪻🌸
