Seems to be the one thing that is always omitted from statistics looking at levels of employment sickness absence & hospital in patient numbers, masks. In countries with better productivity, masks are accepted to avoid spreading viruses. The west should try reality sometime.

Currently, in hospital, doctors decide if someone is going to be treated or not, depending on various factors. 92, mild dementia, gets sepsis, needs kidney support, not a priority, is put on end of life pathway, treatment ends. He did not get a choice to live or die. This bill gives people choice.

she was definitely an economist. I worked closely with her for a couple of years. Last time I saw her, she was giving a seminar on why the US fiscal position was unsustainable. In 2002 😉
