This Micaria spider has truly excellent mimicry of the sandhill carpenter ant (Camponotus socius), and they share habitat. Genus Micaria are ant mimic spiders; many species I see are orange, matching a few ant species, but the pattern and color matching in this species is excellent. 🧪
