We had some good times! Some pictures from our fieldwork in Senegal a few years ago....It is amazing to see archaeology in West Africa developing. Funders really need to prioritise less understood parts of the world, not just most people repeatedly working in the same areas.

Time to learn some more about the West African MSA! They were not only in rainforests 150,000 years ago, they were also in mangrove forests! www.nature.com/articles/s41...
