This was Ching I. Peng (R.I.P., 1950-2018) one of the two accomplished scientists who discovered the beautiful Begonia darthvaderiana from Borneo. He was a sweet and gentle man. There's also a shiny leaved Begonia named after him called Begonia chingipengii (pictured below). 🌱 #begonias
