I've been replaying the first Katamari game on Steam Deck this week and I forgot how therapeutic these games can be. Nothing like unwinding after a long day by winding up a Katamari. It's weirdly relaxing, and the music kicks ass. I've never played past the first game, but I definitely need too.

Lossless Scaling, a nifty little tool to inject AI Upscaling and Frame Gen into any game, is $3.50 right now! This is a steal for people in the same boat as me with aging hardware that want it to last a bit longer. Devs are really dedicated to keeping it updated and improved as well. Check it out!!

@helskate.bsky.social This game had so much potential, unfortunately it was taken out of early access way before it was ready and the devs have been radio silent for two months now. Decided randomly today to switch to Linux with no disregard for the consequences! Loving it so far, so hopefully everything continues to go well. I'm going to miss Lossless Scaling the most from Windows, and I'll likely need to get a Windows partition at some point for PC VR, but for now LINUX!!! :)

One of my favorite games of last year, STRAFTAT got a pretty neat update last week. You should definitely give this game a go, it's a chaotic 1v1 FPS with excellent movement and gunplay all wrapped up in a really unique style. Did I mention it's free? store.steampowered.com/app/2386720/...

Just finished Squid Game Season 2. Surprised how much I enjoyed it, and can't wait for Season 3. Now I am struck by the fact that a Squid Game video game by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. They would be perfect in every single way to adapt the series into a video game!!

Playing through the classic 2003 Psychonauts right now for the first time since I picked up the sequel on the Steam sale. So far I have really been blown away. This game has such a unique vibe, serious charm, an amazing art style, and it's actually funny to boot. Can't wait to play the sequel.
